Kingsley to Appear at Syracuse Motorsports Expo with Lakeside Property Services 350 Super

Story By: CAMDEN PROUD / OSWEGO SPEEDWAY – OSWEGO, NY – Pathfinder Bank Small Block Super veteran Barry Kingsley will again showcase another race car at this year’s Syracuse Motorsports Expo to take place March 9 and 10 at the New York State Fairgrounds.

For 2019, the Oswego feature winner will move to 350 Supermodified action driving the former Buske Racing No. 66 for Lakeside Property Services. It will mark the first time Kingsley has had the opportunity to compete in a Supermodified.

In addition to displaying the No. 06 350 Super, Kingsley will also partake in interviews and fan giveaways with the speedway, along with autograph sessions to be held at the track booth each day at noon.

Oswego’s new 350 class will embark on an eight race championship battle this year beginning with a 35-lap Memorial Weekend special as part of the track’s 69th Season Opener on Saturday, May 25.

Following the declaration of the speedway’s first 350 Supermodified track champion on August 17, the winged small block supers will then conclude their season with a 50-lap special on the final day of Budweiser International Classic Weekend.

Joining Kingsley in the 350 class this year will be several other current and former Pathfinder Bank SBS competitors including Dalton Doyle, Anthony Losurdo, Chris Proud, and Greg O’Connor.

The track held its first 350 Super event in history this past September, with New Englander Dave Helliwell visiting victory lane over Mike Scott, Steve Duphily, Scott Watts and Mike Spurling in the top five.

The 33rd Syracuse Motorsports Expo, which will be held in conjunction with the inaugural Syracuse Indoor Race at the New York State Fairgrounds, is set for Saturday, March 9 and Sunday, March 10.

Admission to this year’s Motorsports Expo will be $13 for adults, $5 for kids 6-12 years of age, and FREE for children under the age of 5. A two day pass is available for $20. Expo hours at the Center of Progress building will be 10am to 8pm on Saturday and 11am to 4pm on Sunday.

Track management is continuing to offer incentives to teams who are able bring a race ready car to the show. The car must appear updated with 2019 rules, have the new Supermodified wing mounted, etc. Any team that is able to attend is asked to contact Paul Conzone at

Oswego Speedway’s 69th season gets underway on Saturday, May 25 with Jim Shampine Memorial Twin 50’s for the Novelis Supermodifieds plus full programs for the Pathfinder Bank Small Block Supers and the 350 Supers.

An Open Practice session for all 2019 divisions will commence one week earlier on Saturday, May 18.
