Hirschman Proves To Be The Man To Beat At Wall’s Turkey Derby; Steuer Takes Dirt Mod Feature Win

Information By: WALL STADIUM SPEEDWAY – WALL TOWNSHIP, NJ – Matt Hirschman dominated the Turkey Derby 150-lap tour-type Modified event Saturday at Wall Stadium Speedway.

Many of the leaders ran the entire event without making a pit stop. Wall regulars Andrew Krause and Tyler Truex were second and third.

After that, Hirschman didn’t stop there. He went back at it during the 100-lap SK Modified main event, taking the lead for good with just 15 laps remaining.

After Jimmy Blewett, Truex and Eric Mauriello came together while battling for the lead, off the front bumper of Blewett, Truex and Mauriello spun. Blewett was sent to the rear and Hirschman got the lead, and then went on to collect the victory.

The Dirt Modified feature was won by Dillon Steuer while Connecticut native and SK Mod Lite racer Noah Korner took home the win in the Legends feature. The TQ race was won by Geoffrey Sutton.
