Sam Rameau Scores Eighth-Place Finish Sunday Afternoon At New Hampshire Motor Speedway

Story By: KYLE SOUZA / RAMEAU FAMILY MOTORSPORTS – LOUDON, NH – Sam Rameau and the Rameau Family Motorsports team salvaged an eighth-place finish out of a difficult weekend at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on April 18.

Following carburetor issues in Saturday’s practice rounds, the team went to work, got the car prepared, and started the 50-lap Open Modified feature in ninth position. The race was part of the inaugural Northeast Classic, promoted by the American-Canadian Tour and Pro All Star Series at the ‘Magic Mile’ of New Hampshire.

The race didn’t play into the hands of Rameau, but he was able to wheel the No. 06 Central Mass Tree machine around to the finish inside the top-10 and load the car in the trailer in one piece.

“Just fought the handling during the whole day and really never got it where we needed it here at New Hampshire,” Rameau said. “Thank you to our great partners for their support. We look forward to getting to the next race and trying to rebound.”

Next up for Sam Rameau is a trip to Monadnock Speedway on Saturday, May 1 — which marks the quest for a $6,000 winning check with the Tri Track Open Modified Series. Rameau went to Victory Lane in the most recent Tri Track race at Monadnock last August.
